Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain or thundershowers in all divisions including in Dhaka division in 24 hours commencing 9:00am on Monday.
‘Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,’ said a met office update.
The country’s highest 39mm of rainfall was recorded in Panchagarh’s Tetulia in 24 hours till 6:00am on Tuesday.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to the BMD.
The country’s highest temperatures were recorded in Chuadanga at 36.8 degrees Celsius on Monday while the lowest temperature was in Bandarban at 24.7 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
